This Privacy Policy explains what information Fractional CMO collects, how we use and disclose it, how cookies and advertising technologies are handled, how client and member data is processed, and the privacy choices and rights that may be available to you.
Fractional CMO (“Fractional CMO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to FractionalCMO.com, go.FractionalCMO.com, our forms, diagnostic and checkout experiences, scheduling pages, member and client platforms, and other online services that link to or reference this Policy (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services or submit personal information through them.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three primary ways: information you provide, information generated through your use of the Services, and information we receive from integrations or service providers.
Information you provide directly
- Contact and lead information, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, website, and information you submit through forms or scheduling pages.
- Diagnostic, application, and business information, including answers about your business, revenue range, marketing activities, goals, challenges, marketing history, technology stack, and other information you provide in assessments, applications, or onboarding materials.
- Transaction and checkout information, such as billing contact details, purchase information, transaction status, refund information, and other records associated with a purchase. Payment details are processed through the checkout or payment service used for the transaction.
- Account and membership information, such as login and profile information, membership access, support requests, tasks, action items, platform activity, and preferences.
- Communications, including email, SMS/MMS, phone calls, support messages, scheduling information, feedback, and information you provide during strategy or support sessions.
- Call and session recordings. Certain client strategy, training, onboarding, or support sessions may be recorded for service delivery, reference, accountability, training, and quality purposes.
Information from client integrations and connected systems
Clients may connect marketing, advertising, analytics, CRM, email, or other business systems to the Fractional CMO Dashboard or related tools. Depending on the connection, we may receive performance metrics, campaign information, lead or customer data, channel-level analytics, and other information needed to provide reporting, strategy, and execution support.
Where a client connects a third-party system, the client or an authorized team member generally authenticates that connection. Fractional CMO does not require clients to provide passwords for connected platforms as part of the standard integration process.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP address, and referring or exit pages.
- Usage information, such as pages viewed, links clicked, form interactions, session duration, traffic source, campaign attribution, and other activity on the Services.
- Cookie and advertising identifiers used for consent management, analytics, measurement, security, personalization, and advertising, subject to your privacy choices.
How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services and client engagement.
- Respond to inquiries, applications, scheduling requests, support questions, and service requests.
- Deliver diagnostics, reports, strategy sessions, onboarding, dashboard functionality, training, membership resources, and other purchased or requested services.
- Analyze marketing performance and provide strategic recommendations, reporting, task management, and accountability support.
- Process purchases, refunds, billing records, and related administrative activity.
- Send service communications, account notices, reminders, and other transactional messages.
- Send marketing emails or SMS/MMS where permitted by law and your choices. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Measure website and campaign performance, understand user behavior, attribute conversions, and improve advertising effectiveness.
- Protect the Services, detect fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
- Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies for essential site functions, consent management, analytics, measurement, and advertising. Non-essential analytics and
advertising technologies are intended to operate in accordance with the choices presented through our consent mechanism.
Technologies identified in our current website environment include Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and CookieYes. Specific campaign, booking, or funnel pages may also use conversion or advertising tags delivered through our tag-management or campaign platforms.
Your cookie choices
Use the cookie/consent controls presented on the website to accept, reject, or adjust non-essential technologies. Clearing cookies or using a different browser/device may require you to set your preferences again.
Global Privacy Control and browser signals
Where applicable law requires it, we will treat a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the browser or device that sends the signal. Because browser-based signals are device- and browser- specific, you may need to use the signal on each browser or device you use.
Other browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized, and we may not respond to them unless required by applicable law.

- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include the disclosure of identifiers, cookie data, or internet activity to advertising or analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising or similar purposes. Where applicable, you may opt out through our cookie/privacy controls or the “Your Privacy Choices” link made available on our site.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No website, system, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Clients are responsible for maintaining the security of their own accounts and credentials and for controlling which data sources they connect to the Fractional CMO Dashboard or related tools.
